In a recent article (Katsav and Heyman, 2020), we derived an approximate tip-diffraction coefficient for circular wide-angle cones. the present work, derive uniform solution field in geometrical optics (GO) transition zones. The has form of Weber parabolic cylinder function order −3/2, but far from zones, it reduces to separate reflection tip diffraction contributions. derivation utilizes spectral integral cones by Katsav Heyman (2020), whose is much simpler than exact solution. used therefore only inside zone, whereas at large angles more accurate switch nonuniform contributions diffraction. accuracy new demonstrated via comparison conical harmonics
